Air and Space Center
Today we went to the Air & Space Center with Leslie and her kids. No pics yet, i didn't bring my camera so we'll have to wait for pics from Leslie's. It was free for military today so that was nice for us all to get in free. We went to see the Mysteries of Egypt IMAX film. Alex was so amazed at the huge screen. He seemed to really like it and did better than me, who was feeling ill every time they did those huge sweeping cinematography shots over the Nile river. LOL We also took a ride in a little simulated shuttle from Star Trek. They played another Egypt movie in there that made it feel like you were riding an airplane.. the kids had us cracking up with their "WHOOOAAAAs" and "AHHHHHHs" Ginny yelled at one point "HOLD ON, THIS IS GOING TO BE TIGHT!" oh and she also tried to put her hands above her head like she was on a roller coaster at one point... tooooo funny. Of course the favorite part of the museum is the DC10 you can go in. They also made paper airplanes today and tried to fly them into targets. The museum even had a mini golf area all about recycling... the kids LOVED it! All in all a great day :)
