Poppop had a great 78th birthday with us of course! Alex helped Mimi make the chocolate cake and peanut butter frosting. Looks pretty good for an old guy doesn't he? :)
Steamtown was fabulous as always. This time we took a longer train ride going to an old train station at Moscow, PA. We couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather. Alex and Poppop were both so excited. I loved hearing Alex and Poppop talk train talk... especially when Poppop explained to Alex how things work. He worked on the railroad when he was younger, as did his father and other male relatives. Trains run in the blood in this family :)
