Show and Tell

Alex asked me the other day what Show and Tell was. I guess he'd seen it on TV or something. As he doesn't go to public school, it was hard to explain but he insisted that he wanted to put on show and tell for us. So we put it on the calendar that Saturday would be show and tell day. Come to find out his version of show and tell was acting out some scenes. It was hysterical.

First he found the Krispy Kreme hat in the dress up box and got out the cash register. He proceeded to take our donut orders, telling us the flavors they had, and then making them for us. (didn't have the camera out for that part!) Then he put on the chef's hat and decided to play restaurant.

Can you guess which restaurant my child picks? Sigh.. CiCi's. (cheapy pizza buffet). Maybe it's time we start taking him to nicer places eh? LOL He took our drink orders and told us he'd bring them out "straight away". Then he told us he could get our plates and get some pizza, he even told us all the desserts they have available. But the big drama came when there was a pretend knock on the door! It was the pretend police and they told Alex that there were some bad guys on their way to try to steal pizza! Alex says "thank you sir!" and then locks the door. He comes over to us "Sir and Ma'am, we have to look the door because some bad guys want to steal the pizza, but after they are gone i will unlock the door so you can go home"

After Cici's, he turned into a toy store and Daddy bought a game... fun times!
