Today was great. Tiring.. but great. We went to Walmart this morning and picked an angel from the angel tree. We had a lesson in giving and that christmas is not all about getting. Alex enjoyed picking things out for the 5 year old boy we picked and putting them back under the tree.
This evening we went to a Polar Express storytime at the library. After reading they did a craft - making a jingly bell bracelet with beads and pipe cleaners. He kept saying "this is such a fun night!"
And of course i forgot my camera for all of this. I really should get a little point and shoot camera for my purse.
Just as a side note.. Alex has been getting more independent lately. It's been really nice to having him wanting to at least TRY to do things himself. So cute.. "No no Mom, i want to try buttoning my shirt" He comes back 5 minutes later. "Ok i need help and more practice." This from the boy who i am pretty sure i'll still be buttoning his pants and zipping his coat when he's 18. LOL
Tomorrow - Homeschooler's day at the Virginia Living Museum. I will bring my camera this time! LOL
