Update on us..

Whew has life been crazy this week... full of scrapbooking assignments, cleaning, shopping, prepping for this trip. With Bob being gone all week it hasn't been very fun for Alex but i tried to make sure we had some sort of fun every day. We did spend 3 hours at the pool yesterday. Got myself a nice sunburn. Note to self... have Alex spray your back with sunscreen instead of trying to do it yourself. You have short arms.

Here are some pictures from us hanging out in the back yard the other day. We have beans! And the pumpkin plants are growing fast!

I took a picture of Alex with his trophy and his baseball balloon. Which shortly after these pictures were taken, lost it's lollipop anchor and blew away. Oh Alex cried and cried... he had just spent 20 minutes chasing that balloon around the yard just laughing and having fun. So being the spoiled brat that he is, I took him to get a new one. Luckily it was also grandma's birthday and we got her a balloon too. We used that as our excuse for going LOL.

Ahh well.. Bob arrives tonight and his family arrives tomorrow. And after a whirlwind few days with them we'll be driving to the Poconos for the rest of the week for vacation. We're also going to take a trip over to Steamtown in Scranton where we will meet up with Poppop and Mimi to take a train ride. Looking forward to it :)
