We took the time to sit on the back porch today to enjoy the nature and read some books. We noticed quite a few little birds hanging out in the yard so we decided to make some pinecone bird feeders.

Alex swears he was only licking some peanut butter off the back of his hand, but with the way that kid loves peanut butter (like his Pappap), I have a hard time believing he wasn't licking the pine cone.

And now we've got apples in the oven to make more applesauce.. it smells heavenly in here!
