Day 1

Wow what a great day we had today! Lots of flying and airports but we had a blast. On our first flight from Norfolk to Atlanta we were on an smallish airplane. The ladies made a FUSS over him... his first flight and going to Disney World. They had the captain tell everyone over the intercom that they had a special guest Alex and that he was heading to Disney.. to give him a high five if they saw him. The captain also had Alex come to the cockpit after the flight to sit in the pilot chair.

All i am going to say is that Alex knows how to work the ladies. After the flight attendant had talked to us the first time, the second time she came back to whisper to me that the captain was going to say a message for alex over the intercom... Alex asked her...

Alex: "May i have another glass of water? and what is your name?"
Flight attendant: "Yes of course, and it's Melanie."
Alex sticks out his hand to shake hers: "It's nice to meet you Melanie" and bats his eyelashes at her.

She just gobbled that right up. He is such a flirt!!

Highlights of the day:

Riding the subways/monorails at ATL and ORL. He LOVED it.
He loved the flights.
Getting a warm chocolate chip cookie at check in.
Awesome hotel/room.
Dinner at a fabulous hole in the wall middle eastern place.
Riding the tram over to the Disney ticketing area to activate our military passes for tomorrow. Alex is so excited for Magic Kingdom tomorrow.
