Well it's certainly been a wild whirlwind of a summer lately! We were so busy doing everything we could with the Vrolyks while they were in town. Sad now that they've gone back to Germany. I've been creating projects for Karen Foster to be shown on HSN this week which has kept me super busy. Sitting in my chair so much perched over my desk.. that i broke a leg on my chair. Lovely. Bob was nice enough to let me use his for now. My spare chair in here is horrible.
So now i'm rushing to finish projects and get ready for a road trip on monday! We're going to see Audrey and Jeremy for a couple of days then heading on to PA to see Poppop and Mimi. Plan on going to Steamtown and riding the train while we're there.
We're also trying to fit in some family activities which has been hard with our crazy schedules and the fact that Bob is working very long days in the heat at the shipyard. I'll be glad when this contract is over, it's hard seeing him so exhausted all the time. So anyway tomorrow we're heading out to play some mini golf and let alex ride some go-karts. Should be fun but hot.
Our other big thing is trying to plan out our family vacation. It'll be the week of Sept 17th. So far i think we're going to head up to Strasburg, PA to do the "Day out with Thomas"... after that we're considering possibly going to another railroad maybe in WV. (Ok i'm trying to get us over to WV to see Dar, but we'll use railroads as an excuse! LOL) Not sure what else we'll do yet.

I will find something train related to do, hell, there is train that comes through here every night that you can hear, LOL. Does that qualify as train related? Will check my book and get back to ya.
