Let's have a moment of silence....

Sigh... I ruined my favorite pot tonight. The one i waited years to buy. The enamel coated cast iron dutch oven. Did i mention it's red. Shiny. It could have been worse i guess. It COULD have been a 200 dollar Le Crueset pot. But it was only my 40.00 dollar Target knock off. But still. It was my pan... i loved that pan. And tonight as i absentmindedly scooped mac&cheese with a metal spoon... i was scraping up the bottom of the pan. I had forgotten... like a nonstick pan... you can't use metal utensils. A moment of silence... for my poor poor red shiny dutch oven. She only got to see a few months of use... and the occasional fondling.

Now if anyone would like an idea for a christmas present for me... Le Crueset.. only 200 bucks... RED. Ok ok.. i'll settle for the Target knock off LOL.

Ok guess i should get back to blogging about Alex who is the focus of this blog and let's face it.. just about everything around here. LOL Teeball...the boy loves teeball. And after 3 seasons he's finally showing some really good improvement. Sure we should have been practicing with him more... but he seems to have gotten it all on his own. Runs in the blood i suppose.. the Ross family are baseball boys for sure. So here's Alex.. playing a game Saturday.. always with a happy smile on his face. Sports are all about the fun :)
