Hello out there!

Last night Alex treated us to a "night show" as he called it. We set up a blanket between his bed and dresser so he'd have a puppet curtain, we turned out all the lights, and he gave me a thomas flashlight and Bob a thomas lantern. We were providing the spot lights. He put on a cute little puppet show.. cracked us up! Then came a round of shadow puppets and shadow monster. It all ended with the puppets coming out again to take their final bow and a finale song of Veggie Tale's "My Cheeseburger" which of course we all sang together. He is definitely an entertainer LOL.

In other news... Bob is leaving this coming thursday for a foreign country in a not so great area. He'll be gone for 3 weeks. Ugh...

Today Alex and I sat on the couch and read some books... then he went to go look at books on the floor and i dozed off on the couch as i wasn't feeling that great. Thirty minutes later i woke up to find this messssss....

Feb Stuff

Normally i wouldn't be too happy about such a mess. But this is a great mess. This is books being read. This is learning and imagination happening... makes me so happy that he loves to read as much as we do.

There's also a picture of Alex with "Ray" his favorite stuffed animal that goes everywhere with him. He loves to make up stories to tell to Ray. He even did this in the car as we traveled to and from PA. Love that boy's imagination!

I'm going to take his picture in a few minutes for our monthly picture/measurement stats so i'll probably post another picture or 2 soon!
